CRIME FOCUS AND CRIME PREVENTION TIPS

We are centered on crime Prevention.
Crime Focus has put version of the Principles of Crime Prevention.

You can use these principles as a sort of check-list to work out ways to reduce or remove the opportunity to commit crime.  Crime prevention colleagues recognise these from crime prevention courses but anybody can use them and are very useful   and Detection.

Some examples given could fall under more than one heading. Find out which best suits your needs. Before you embark on the list you may first wish to think about the problem itself, because knowledge of why the problem is happening will help you choose the actions you might wish to take.

CRIME FOCUS observed  Crime prevention as the anticipation, recognition, and appraisal of a crime risk and the initiation of some action to remove or reduce it.

Below are the ten techniques that can be employed to prevent and detect crime -:

1. Target hardening.
2. Target Removal.
3. Removing the Means (to Commit Crime).
4. Reducing the Pay-Off.
5. Access Control.
6. Surveillance.
7. Environmental Change.
8. Rule Setting.
9. Increasing the Chances of Being Caught.
10. Deflecting Offenders.

Drugs abuse cost lives.
In an age when the speed of information can often outstrip the speed of verification, the COVID-19  has taught us that it is crucial to cut thru the noise & focus on facts, a lesson that we must heed in order to protect societies from the impact of drugs.

 
Drug abuse killed many, while drug use disorders resulted in  healthy life lost. Serious & often lethal illnesses are common among drug abusers, esp those who use injections. 

CRIME FOCUS is dedicated to pursuing & promoting fact-driven approaches to fight crime  and drug abuse .

 
I am proud to present this initiative which embodies a commitment to raising awareness, combating crime & misinformation.

It is my hope that this initiative  will inform  the general public on the facts of the crime, drug problem & provide them with a powerful tool to share evidence & information, and in doing so help save & preserve lives.
